In the Hungarian municipality of Koz\u00e1rd, in the province of N\u00f3gr\u00e1d, M\u00e1rk Hizsnyai is continuing a family tradition. Beekeeping is no ordinary profession for him, but a mission in life that has been practised in his family for five generations. As a 13-year-old boy, he began working with the bees alongside his father and learning the basic skills of the trade. Today, he looks after 780 bee colonies in the family business, which is run by four family members and one permanent employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
