This is made possible by meticulous beekeeping: Our bees collect the nectar and honeydew predominantly in undisturbed landscapes. The organic beekeeper keeps a precise record of the locations and allows the bees to keep their own honey during the winter. In addition, he only uses beehives made from natural materials. As a result, our Acacia Honey, Forest Honey and Blossom Honey with the organic label are a truly natural treat. Our honey varieties from the organic range are diverse and also include honey from Germany and Fairtrade honey from Latin America. With the latter, your purchase supports the preservation of nature and sustainable beekeeping in the region.

Ecologically produced honeys are subject to constant controls. These relate to the location, the material, the hygiene and the breeding of the bee swarms. In collaboration with the Öko-Kontrollstelle (organic inspection body), we are therefore able to guarantee the highest quality and purity. This is what the organic label stands for. Our Fairtrade Organic Honey is sourced from Latin America, where we use the Fairtrade premium to promote a sustainable approach to nature and bees and to improve the living standards of beekeeping families. In this way, we – and you – can help to ensure that honey will remain a purely natural and fair, indulgent food product for a long time to come.

Totally organic, totally good?

Organic honey accounts for less than 10 % of the total honey harvest worldwide. The requirements and the outlay involved set the hurdles high, as a result of which the organic label is of great importance and has a positive effect, particularly on the way bees are kept.
