“Beekeeping means hard physical labour that is rewarded by being close to nature and doing something good for our environment.”
László Lefler | Hungary
45-year-old László Lefler runs his family beekeeping business in the Hungarian county of Heves. He founded his business in 2004 on his own initiative. His fascination and enthusiasm for the beekeeping craft were awakened above all by the unique scent of the wax and the beehives.
Today, he looks after around 330 bee colonies in his business. For László, beekeeping is more than just a profession: It is a fulfilling task that gives him the good feeling of actively doing something for our environment. What makes him particularly proud of his work is knowing that by looking after the bees, he is simultaneously helping to preserve the future of our environment.
